Victoria McLain's dad was the best DEA agent, and now he's been murdered. Victoria is set on revenge against the Colombian cartel leader who killed him. Even though she's not a DEA agent, her dad trained her as if she was one, and she plans to use all her training to take out the cartel leader. DEA agent Hayden Hunt is her only problem.

Hayden is not only a DEA agent but is also a werewolf. His wolf senses tell him when Victoria is lying to him, which is a blessing when all she does is lie about who she is. Even though he doesn't know Victoria's name, his wolf knows that she is his mate and will stop at nothing to keep Victoria from her revenge.

I really enjoyed Dominating Victoria by Kitty DuCane. I went into this story expecting a lot of BDSM with little plot. I was unexpectedly surprised when instead I found a great love story woven in with the BDSM. Ms. DuCane managed to combine all my favorite elements: werewolves, alpha males, strong heroines, BDSM and love in one fantastic story. Victoria and Hayden were great together...even before he learned her name! I liked the way she kept him on his toes throughout the whole book. I loved the way she put everything Victoria felt about getting revenge for her father out in the open for everyone to see. I found myself wanting her to succeed in her mission. Hayden was great as Victoria's "hero." He was strong and magnetic without being domineering. Hayden is how an alpha male should be portrayed.

I am definitely a new fan of Ms. DuCane.
