Cherise Sinclair's Master of the Mountain takes us to a picturesque location where human desire communes with Mother Nature. Logan is strong and passionate. He understands Rebecca's needs and supplies a level of comfort for her submissive side to come out and play. Rebecca's confidence level soars professionally but diminishes personally. Her lush body has never been something she thought of as an asset until she met Logan. The couple worked well together regardless of the setting. There were moments where I expected Rebecca to lose her cool, but she took everything in stride. I appreciated that the most about her character. Rebecca never showed anyone the hurt, humiliation, or pain she felt, relinquishing their ability to inflict more of the same. From the plot to the characters, this fast-paced story was a joy to read.
