Bottled Up
Sean Bielecki has always wanted his own business, and his passion about wine made it possible. Sommelier Wines keeps Sean busy, but he never knew what he was missing until he helped a homeless teenager, Bobby Thompson. Bobby brings out a parental side Sean didn't know lurked within. He creates a small hole in the shield guarding Sean's heart, which is all the room Sam needs.
Officer Sam Davis has been hoping against hope for the opportunity to woo Sean. Sam strikes while the iron is hot, and begins a campaign to gain Sean's affections. Sean and Sam's friendship slowly morphs into a loving relationship.
With the man who attacked Bobby still at large, life is getting more dangerous for the teenager and Sean by the second. Will they all come away unscathed, or is that too much to hope for?
Bottled Up takes us to Wisconsin where we meet Sean Bielecki and Officer Sam Davis. Sean is a down to earth person with a great support system of friends. Past horrors have left him uncertain about men and he finds it hard to trust strangers. Sam is a police officer with heart. He loves his job and helping those in the community. His patience and understanding helped him to reduce Sean's towering wall to a simple pebble.
Andrew Grey is a remarkable story weaver. I was sucked into this story from the first few lines. His characters are always well written, and believable. Sean's reaction to Bobby made my parental side proud. You would always hope there is someone out there who gets how wonderful children are and is willing to protect and nurture them. Well Sean got it! I absolutely loved this story. It was a tearjerker at times, but I love those types of stories so that's not a complaint. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel Uncorked, soon. In addition, for those of you who didn't know Tyler O'Connor and Mark Burke from The Best Revenge make a cameo appearance in this book. I love how Andrew Grey ties these tales together so keep them coming!
