The location is present day Scotland.

Janet Duval and her friend, Morag were walking home. A really thick fog moved in. All of a sudden Janet and Morag spot two big warrior men on horseback. They see the women and go charging after them. Janet and Morag wake up in a tent. Somehow Janet and Morag have been transported back in time.

Euan Donald is chieftain and Lord of the Isles. He and his good friend, Graeme are ready to find themselves wives. Janet and Morag would like nothing better than to find a way home. Janet and Morag will learn that their future is in the past.

I couldn't really get into this story. It moved a little too slow at first for me. Though I did like that Euan wasn't just a fierce warrior but was also a softy at heart. Euan came off more barbaric with Janet at the beginning. So the passion wasn't there. Towards the end, I had warmed up to Euan and his love for Janet.

Dragons and Dungeons by Tawny Taylor

Kaya Cordova works for an antiques shop. The one item she really wanted to win went to a tall, dark, stranger by the name of Jestin Draig. Kaya will do anything to convince Jestin to hand over the antique item, even if it means stay with him for several days. Jestin may be into priceless artifacts, but there isn't a more priceless one than winning over Kaya.

Jestin was definitely the devil in disguise. Only the devil could be so good at charming a woman into bed. The cat and mouse game Kaya and Jestin played with each other was sizzling. There was some light BDSM action going on in this story. If I knew that Dragons and Dungeons could be this sexy, I would have played it a long time ago.

Maggie Stewart has been kidnapped and not just by anyone, she has been taken aboard an alien space craft. She is now the prisoner of Vladei. Maggie does not want to be a weird science experiment. Fortunately for her, all Vladei wants to do to Maggie is have sex and lots of it.

A sexy male, alien life form who's package can grow bigger every time he has sex...where do I sign up! The language barrier is no problem when it pertains to a man and a woman. The story line I wasn't so much in love with, but it was a good one. For the first chapter or so, Vladei wasn't identified as such but only known as the alien. I wanted to put a name to Maggie's lover versus imagining him as a green alien. I did think that Maggie and Vladei meshed well together.
