Jason Hawk has just returned home after a voluntary tour to Afghanistan. He is looking forward to enjoying a nice honeymoon with his wife, Andrea. Jason had been busy sending in his stories from Kandahar, Afghanistan, to the respected magazines, while Andrea was busy with her erotic romance books. Upon returning home, Jason plans to write a book about the war zone, while Andrea pursues her love of writing. He had no idea that after being separated from his newly married wife, another would already be trying to be sure to get all her attention. Dex knows all about Andrea and has read her books. He really is eager to gain a spot in her life. Will Jason be able to keep the attention of his lovely wife, Andrea, or has her heart already focused on another since their separation?

This story is so realistic and the characters absolutely real that I could even feel the intensity of Jason's sensations when his jealously would flare up. Andrea and Jason are created in a way that their actions are genuine, their love, one that cannot be broken, no matter what the obstacles. Homecoming is a joy. Kate Hofman delivers incredible players that leave a lasting impression with this reader. She creates struggles, and frequently hardships, within a marriage, and shows how couples are often put through a test as they strive for that lasting happiness. This story flowed at such an even pace and was an absolute pleasure to read, especially the little conflict about letting others know that Andrea was Jason's wife. What a lovely story of true love and romance.
