Better Than Money
All Jack wants is to not be so lonely any more. When his roommate, Felix, finds the love of his life and moves in with him Jack finds himself looking for something he doesn't think he can have. After all, true love doesn't happen to male escorts and Felix is the exception. Well, that is until he meets Charlie the Limo driver at a Christmas party. What Jack doesn't know is how Charlie will feel about his current line of work.

If you read Sindustry II then you will most definitely remember Felix and Julian in that anthology as Taylor Lochland's story was one of the most memorable. Jack played a secondary character in that story but in Better Than Money he proves himself to be a worthy main character. The story is told from the sweet, lonely point of view of Jack, but Charlie is equally as likeable, coming through just as clearly as Jack did. I loved the fact that Jack's job was just that-a job. It wasn't the main focus of the story although it did feed the plotline at times, but in all the right places. Taylor Lochland creates memorable plotlines with characters that are heartwarming and likeable and Better Than Money is no exception!
