Fat Chance
Finley Anderson Tanner has always been a Palm Beacher at heart, so imagine her delight when she lands a shabby chic cottage in the middle of all that ritz and glam. Even better is that she gets it for a bargain-basement price! She should have known better than to trust her mother. The cottage is heavy on the shabby and there's nothing chic about it. For an outlet shopping paralegal, it's a nightmare rather than a dream come true, especially when she finds a dead body in her new closet.

Finley can't seem to chalk it up to an accidental death and begins an investigation on her own. Finley is determined to get to the bottom of this little mystery. When help comes from a few different directions, she has everything she needs and then some. Things will get deadly before all is said and done. Hopefully Finley can come out of this one mystery solved, and unscathed.

Fat Chance is a good blend of laughter and mystery set in sunny Florida. I have a soft spot for stories set near home and this one didn't disappoint. It was a fun quick read and perfect for a little escape. Finely Tanner is a likeable character whose humorous insight, no matter the fiasco she's currently dealing with, makes this a very enjoyable read. The two men trying to help Finley and her quirky relationships with them add a good dose of sexual tension to this book. Over all, I liked it.
