Things get hot and heavy between Simon and Jeremy. Just when they start to believe they may have found their happily-ever-after, tragedy strikes and turns their lives upside down. With the help of their friends and their blossoming love for each other, they just may come out the other side of this stronger than ever.

I had high hopes for Forged after I fell in love with Bent. And while I liked this book, it didn't reach me on the same level as the first in this series. I had a harder time believing in the relationship between Jeremy and Simon. When they face the difficult tragedy life throws their way, that's when I really began to feel a connection to them.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this book. I think had I not read Bent, I'd have liked it much more. It's just hard to compare the two. I'm eager to read Found, the next book in Sean Michael's powerful series. If you like your m/m romance edgy and emotional, pick this up. It's a good read.
