Montana, Mistletoe, Marriage
Montana, Mistletoe, Marriage gives us two sisters running a ranch in Montana and each has their very own story to tell.

Amelia Hughes cannot believe her luck when she gets stuck in an oncoming snow storm. Luckily for her Boone Gifford is on his way to her ranch the Rocking H. She assumes he's the ranch hand her sister hired to help out while her sister is out of town with their grandmother. Now with the snow storm Amelia and her son are snowed in with Boone. The hard part for Amelia is that the only thing her son wants for Christmas is a dad, and he thinks Boone is the answer to his Christmas wish. Boone, however, isn't who she thinks he is, and when the tables turn and she finds out the truth, will Amelia let her feelings towards Boone grow or will she shut him out for good?

Kelley Hughes is in Helena so that her grandmother can have a procedure done to her heart. She has always been the one to run things around the ranch, and she can't help but be concerned both because of her grandmother and also her sister and nephew are weathering the storm at the Rocking H Ranch. When she does get back to the ranch, she has to prepare to cook Christmas dinner for the family. Why she ever suggested that idea to help out Amelia she would never know for she doesn't have any experience in cooking. Running a ranch, yes, cooking, no. While in Helena she runs into an old classmate, Mack Dennison, who just happened to own his own kitchen franchise. When he offers to help her with her dilemma and teach her to cook, she takes him up on his offer. However it isn't long before the attraction lights up between them, and Kelley is haunted by images of her past. Can she overcome the past in order to have a life with Mack?

Both of the stories in Montana, Mistletoe, Marriage were very heartwarming. Both sisters have pasts they must deal with making them more real to the reader. The fact that it is Christmas time only adds to the magic of both stories. While both stories were enjoyable, Amelia's son seemed to top the cake in the first story with Amelia and Boone, leaving readers hoping Amelia and Boone could get past their problems. The family unit also added to the story. There weren't the cat fights we are usually accustomed to in Christmas books. Luckily the family gets along which only adds to the spirit of the Christmas theme. One can't help but cheer both Boone and Mack on when faced with the obstacles that got in their way of the women they loved. Over all Montana, Mistletoe, Marriage was a pleasant read.
