Edge
Autumn has finally found a little happiness in her life, but darkness looms around the corner. She has never let go of her pain, and that pain could cost her the new ménage relationship in which she is involved. As her relationship slowly falls apart, she begins receiving death threats and finally finds out who her father is. Her life is quickly spiraling out of control and the only thing that can bring her back from the edge is her relationship, but first she has to pick up the pieces and put it back together again.
I found the first book in this series, Voyeur, to be a little on the edge and very intense, but it really cannot compare to this second book, Edge. The title is a perfect book, because Roxy Harte pushes her readers to the edge with the shocking and powerful emotions that run rampant in this book.
While I found myself reeling from the extreme sadistic tendencies of these characters, I was also pulled into their sensual dance in an unexplainable way. Had anyone told me the contents of this book, how intense the scenes get, I might have decided not to read it. However, I am so glad that I did. I found myself so wrapped up in the characters; I could actually understand what they got out of the things they do together.
Roxy Harte certainly knows how to push the boundaries to get to the heart and soul of her characters. I have never felt such emotion pour from the pages of a book. This book has touched me in such a way that I cannot seem to find the words to express my feelings, other than to say it was captivating, powerful and intense; certainly unlike any other book I have ever read.
If you enjoy reading BDSM and don't mind pushing the boundaries and beyond, I suggest you pick this book up today. Just be warned that you are about to be taken on a wild ride and you may not be the same when you finish the book.
