An Ordinary Angel
Julianne Spencer cannot image life with the very stoic and very polite Mr. Terrel Lee Parker, her current suitor. Julianne wants passion and someone who will love her the way she is, not the very proper young lady she has to act like while courting with Mr. Parker. But Julianne gets way more than she bargains for when a group of outlaws seek to hole up at her farm and take her prisoner. Julianne's best hope may be Mr. Parker...

This is a sweet romance about people who are not always they way they seem. Julianne isn't the proper young lady she appears to be, and there is more to Mr. Parker than what she has seen. The setting of this story plays a large part of the story. Julianne lives outside of town on a fairly isolated farm, and it is snowing. Then the outlaws appear and figure out that Julianne is alone, and it just gets worse and worse for poor Julianne. One of the outlaws is injured, and since Julianne's doctor father isn't home, they expect her to save him. I enjoyed reading this story as Julianne has to grow up some and find what her strengths is if she wants to survive. Mr. Parker has some growing to do also if he wants to save Julianne from the bad guys. If you want a sweet romance with a good life lesson about not judging a book by it's cover, you will like this story.
