Thomas and Matt have almost everything they could ever want, friends, family and their love for each other. The only thing that will complete their love is a child of their own. They have found a woman, Lorelei, to agree to have a child for them and are waiting for the birth of their child. Lately, Thomas and Matt have been having dreams about their daughter, making them wonder what is happening. Their entire extended family is leaving soon for a vacation in their favorite place in the world, their vacation home in Black Point in Honolulu. All their careful planning starts to unravel, starting with the Christmas presents arriving at home, not at their correct destination Black Point. Next their van arrives early, and they find out Damian's, Matt's brother, lover Mike left him, but the worst of all happens after they arrive at Black Point. Thomas can't get over the feeling that something is wrong with Lorelei, and when she doesn't arrive at the airport, things come to a head. Thomas finally gets through on the phone to have her boyfriend answer telling them that she has changed her mind and isn't going to give them the baby when it is born. Will all their plans go up in flames, or will Matt and Thomas find a way to keep their dreams alive?

Mr. Llewellyn and Mr. Manly have continued their fascinating and riveting story about the lives of two incredible men. The love between Matt and Thomas is beautiful to behold and their dream of creating their complete family is one many couples understand. The topic of surrogacy is wrought with legal and moral dilemmas. The legal battles between the individuals are well documented. Many people feel that gay individuals having children is wrong, but all kids need is the love of a parent, such as Matt and Thomas have for there child. It was fascinating to watch as the characters evolve as the storyline continues and how each person reacts to the difficulties life brings them . Daphne, their niece, is the cutest child who, with her engaging and rambunctious personality, brings love and laughter to all who love her. I hope to read further stories about the lives of Matt, Thomas, and their extended family.
