Curvy Diana is home alone one night, ironing her underwear, when a gorgeous, naked, blue-skinned man appears, flattening her coffee table. The hunky alien insists that he is her leader, she is his destined mate, and they should have sex immediately to ensure the future of his species. Although Diana is tempted, she turns down his offer. Confused by her refusal, the warrior Kor decides to take her first and learn how to woo a human woman later. He abducts Diana, beaming her on board his spaceship. He soon discovers that the biddable, docile mate he asked his ancestors for is anything but. Diana isn't impressed with his primitive attitude and she isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Written in first person from Diana's perspective, Alien Mate is an entertaining erotic romp across the galaxy. It is filled with snappy internal and external dialogue and some hilarious one-liners. Diana is a woman many readers will identify with. Kor is a dominant yet confused male. They work as a couple, both in and out of the bedroom. The fast pace of the first half of the story slows down naturally as the relationship becomes more established. Alien Mate is set in a world this reader would love to explore.
