Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? by Stormy Glenn is the sixth book in the Wolf Creek Pack series.
Ben, the biggest and baddest wolf in his pack, may be at gathering for all single members of the pack per his Alpha's demand, but he is still hiding. Ben is the pack enforcer and because of his size and reputation he doesn't think that there is a mate for him and he hates big gatherings. All single pack members from his pack and Prince Zacarius's coven are looking for mates. Stefan, a vampire, is there too, but his brother Oliver has instructed him to remain inconspicuous until his friend Dane claims him. Stefan has taken abuse from both Dane and Oliver, but he doesn't have the strength to oppose him. Ben's eyes are drawn towards the most beautiful blue eyes he has ever seen and when Stefan smiles at him everything else fades. Ben unconsciously approaches Stefan, but he notices Stefan is terror stricken by the approach of another vampire, Dane. The only way to protect Stefan is to claim him and to his surprise Ben realizes that Stefan is his mate. Stefan may be small, but Ben quickly learns that Stefan is no pushover when he demands that Ben claim him to their mutual satisfaction. Is Stefan finally safe from his brother and Dane or will they get their revenge? Stefan is still worried about his best friend and Dane's brother Audley who is still under Dane's control. Will Stefan and Ben find a way to free Audley from Dane before it is too late?
Ms. Glenn has continued her intriguing series with this incredible story. Ben is a mixture of incredible strength and childlike fears that captivate the reader from the beginning. The idea of such a strong man being so scared was endearing. I loved how Stefan was so much smaller than Ben, but he ruled the house. Adding Audley to the mix added spice and ingenuity. I am fascinated by the shape-shifting and paranormal aspects of the story and how they were woven in. It was incredible to watch what would happen in a battle between werewolves and vampires. The erotic scenes were poignant, loving, fun and incredibly moving. I, for one, hope that there will be another book in the Wolf Creek Pack series. Thanks go to Ms. Glenn for a great read.
