Fan Mail
With the rise of her modeling career, Alicia Langerud has seen some major changes in her life, but one thing has always remained the same: her and Tommy's love for one another. That all changed when Tommy broke up with her and shattered her world. Since then, Alicia has been drowning in a depression with no care for herself or her career. When a stalker makes his presence known in a big way, Alicia calls on the one person she could always count on: Tommy. As they try to find her stalker, she and Tommy are also forced to deal with a paparazzo who holds the evidence that could ruin their careers. Will the threats hanging over her head have the power to bring them back together or will their relationship be destroyed for good?
Tommy Touhy has loved Alicia for as long as he could remember, but he never felt like he could possibly compete with her many admirers. After an irresponsible act threatens to destroy her career, Tommy's guilt on his part is more than he can take and he calls it quits. He could never stop loving her, but he forced the lie to get her to move on. When Alicia calls upon him for help against an attacker, Tommy knows it's going to take every ounce of willpower he possesses to keep from revealing the love he still has for her. Can he continue to hurt them both by denying his feelings or will he give in to the inevitable passion between them?
Few authors can compete with the ability to create such dynamic and complex characters as Aubrey Leatherwood. She has a gift for writing realistic storylines that grab at your heart with their emotional intensity. I have never before given a recommended read to a novella-length story simply because it is so hard to form an attachment to characters in such a short amount of time, but the length did not diminish the power of this story, not one iota. My heart was engaged from page one, making for a complete inability to put it down. Alicia and Tommy broke my heart again and again with their obvious love and the seemingly massive wall that had come between them. Their passion for each other was palpable and the sex was on the scorching side of hot. Fan Mail was a sexy, gut-wrenching read that will evoke emotions felt long after the final page and comes highly recommended by this reader.
