Liquid Silver Books’ Zodiac Series promises to be a fiery romp through the stars. The Aries offering brings to life some Rams that will have readers laughing, smiling, and feeling the heat as these passionate individuals find their mates.

Slow Burn by Rebecca Williams

Rebel Pemberton-Blythe has known Aidan Quinn for years. They are not only colleagues, but also the best of friends. So good in fact, that Rebel challenged Aidan that should they both still be alone when she turned thirty, she wanted him to make her forget loneliness with some mind-blowing sex. With the big three zero quickly approaching, Rebel lives in a combined state of dread and anticipation. She knows there is heat between them, but will the deal with Aidan make or break their friendship?

Slow Burn is a quick read laced with friendship and passion. Readers get an instant glimpse at what makes up these two characters. Rebel’s fiery determination, coupled with Aidan’s more quiet resolve makes them a couple worth reading about. As things between them heat up, Ms. Williams keeps readers engaged with heated love scenes and the ever present question of where their friendship will go. I enjoyed the parallel growth of the friendship and passion between Rebel and Aidan and could not have asked for a better romance to start off the Aries book.

A Ram for Sam by Susie Charles

The stars must be out of alignment; there is no way Sam is destined to be with an Aries. The last relationship she had with an Aries was a disaster. Of course she has no way of knowing that childhood friend and ardent admirer, Ben, has other ideas. Ben has wanted Sam for years, but the timing has never been right. On her thirtieth birthday, he is determined to show her that there is just one Ram for Sam.

Susie Charles has created a story that will have readers smiling as Sam finds out just how compatible she is with one specific Aries. The heat between them is hard to ignore and it is fun to get to “see” both characters’ points of views. Ms. Charles builds the anticipation nicely and had me turning the pages as fast as possible to see what type of birthday Sam ended up with; a “present” few women could turn down.

The Zodiac Series Aries lives up to the heat and passion associated with this fire sign. Slow Burn and A Ram for Sam had this reviewer enjoying the fireworks and friendship these two couples discovered and has ensured that I will be looking to see what else is present in the stars at Liquid Silver Books.
