The Zodiac Series Taurus

The latest installment in The Zodiac Series, Taurus, continues to deliver star-crossed lovers that definitely know how to heat up the pages.

Safe Sex by Dee S. Knight

Watching Cynthia Williams as she struggles through a blind date, he can’t help but be drawn to her beauty. Unable to resist approaching her, they experience a brief moment of unparalleled passion, but when Cynthia fails to meet him later, he is resigned that he’ll never see her again. Little does he know that his career and hers will bring them back together. When he finally sees Cynthia again, it is under the most unlikely circumstances, circumstances that challenge his heart and his integrity. What is this Scorpio to do with this passionate, stubborn Taurus?

Dee S. Knight manages to deliver a lot in this short story. Cynthia’s blind date will have readers smirking at the “romantic” man she meets for her date while they hold their breath in anticipation as the glances between her and Bill smolder. Readers can’t help but be disappointed that Cynthia does not meet Bill later, but Ms. Knight more than makes up for it when these two characters meet again. These scenes between them give new meaning to safe sex and the slight twist at the end make this a romance readers are sure to enjoy.

Cosmic Sensations by Maggie Casper

Zoe Hamilton knows that she and John Richardson are fated to be together, but fate never makes things easy. Their first date sees sparks fly and an unquenchable desire flare. The only problem is John has a hard time believing in Zoe’s gifts and an even harder time resolving her independence with his need to protect. The Cosmic Sensations when this Libra and Taurus let Venus rule will have more than one reader looking for their own Taurus male.

Cosmic Sensations portrays a woman that by most people would be considered a flake. The author shows the dilemma John faces by caring for a woman that is very different than his ideal. As they get to know each other, readers can see that they are in fact well suited. As John acknowledges the softhearted woman he loves, readers will be happy to see his bullish behavior take a backseat to passion and love.

The Zodiac series continues to delight this reviewer. The authors somehow manage to pack quite a bit into these steamy, short stories. Whereas the stories contained within Taurus portray two very different couples, Ms. Casper and Ms. Knight have exemplified the essence of a Taurus in love.
