An Angel’s Revenge

Stephen Williams is an up and coming reporter. When he hears of the gruesome discovery of a young girl’s body in a nearby village lake, he decides to follow the story. When Angela appears to Stephen, he’s not sure what to believe any more.

There’s more here than meets the eye. There is a menacing feeling of evil throughout the village, but it’s much worse near the ruins of the old church. The church has been destroyed twice now under mysterious circumstances, yet there is no evidence of decay to be found. There are no cobwebs, no dust, and even the hinges move with ease. What could possibly be going on in such a quiet village, especially in a church?

With the help of Angela’s ghost, Stephen will race against time to stop the Followers of the Beast. The Followers of the Beast are getting ready for something, but what could it be? Can Stephen find out and stop them, before Angela’s soul is lost forever? Follow Stephen on his wild journey as he uncovers the village’s secrets and discovers some of his own.

Mr. Brooker writes a wonderful story. The plot is well thought out and easy to follow. He throws in some twists and turns along the way, but leads you exactly where he wants you to go. The descriptions are wonderful and make it easy to really visualize the scenes he has created. Some of the alliteration is enough to give me goose bumps!

Though it is categorized as horror, it’s not so much scary as thought provoking. Be prepared to think carefully about the line between good and evil and how closely we all come to crossing it.
