Darkscape: Redemption

Declan de Douglas views himself as an abomination, since his death at the end of the Clan Wars. Full of guilt, rage, and self-loathing, Declan seeks atonement. In a moment of weakness, he is captured and collared by a slaver. He awakes to no memory and a princess attempting to free him.

Princess Fallon MacKendrick is bound by duty, but her heart belongs to another. One fateful night, she goes to a brothel where she locates Declan. Together they escape. Pursued by enemies, Fallon grapples with her passion and fear. Suddenly Fallon must choose between her heart and her duty.

R. Garland Gray deftly describes the anguish and shame that annihilates an honorable soul who believes himself beyond redemption. Before Declan can heal, he must forgive himself and accept Fallon’s love.

Darkscape: Redemption is an ingenious, spectacular view of a future where an unknown enemy seeks revenge and a gifted princess offers a new beginning. I could not put the book down despite the late night and early morning. R. Garland Gray’s Darkscape: Redemption is a rousing, sensual read with an incredible finish.
