Longing's Levant

Riel Evann-Sin is the Lord High Commander of the Akkadian forces. He keeps the law and works to eradicate those who threaten to upset the peace. On his way to meet up with a friend to continue an important mission, he encounters a group of witches with ill intentions. Although the women repel him, one immediately stands out. Evann-Sin is drawn to Tamara but knows that they are on different paths in life. When he is later kidnapped and repeatedly raped by the witches, minus Tamara, Evann-Sin will find his whole world changed and a new barricade erected to deter him in his goal to fight evil.

Tamara is horrified to find out that Evann-Sin has been violated by women she would consider her sisters. She kills the ring leader and vows to work to combat the evil machinations of her Queen, whose ultimate goal is to control everything and everyone. Together with Evann-Sin and some other characters, Tamara will find that she’ll have to reevaluate everything she has been taught to be and fight for.

Longing’s Levant is a fascinating, erotic, fantasy read with a multi-layered dimension that is sure to please. While Evann-Sin and Tamara steal the stage with their hot chemistry and dedicated passion, the story contains a number of supporting characters who add elements of intrigue, love and passion making this a book rich in plot and detail. Ms. Boyett-Compo keeps readers engaged in a world filled with humans, demons, mages, witches and supernatural beings, all hoping to find their place to bring about their own brand of justice and happiness. The sex scenes are hot and the dialogue witty, emphasizing Ms. Boyett-Compo’s skill for telling a great tale. For those who enjoy paranormal and sci-fi with a historical element, I recommend Longing’s Levant.
