Fed up with her cheating husband, Renee Wells is taking charge of her life. She’s out to prove her husband is cheating and when she does catch him, she files for divorce. Wanting to be as far away from him as possible, she accepts a new job in the small town of Rebellion. An experienced legal secretary from a large and prestigious firm in Los Angeles, Renee’s new job is a change of pace. Now she’s working with Rick Loman at Loman & Son, replacing his only employee, retiring secretary Opal. Rick soon asks her to act as a sounding board and help him with a complicated case.

On her first morning in town Renee’s caught in a traffic jam. Looking about, she notices a steamed window, which begins to clear … revealing the gorgeous ass and back of a male, and he’s naked! For Renee, it’s lust at first sight. She might have sworn off men, but the hunky mystery man and now her boss have sent her hormones into overdrive. What’s a girl to do?

Rhiannon Neeley‘s Steamy Rebellion is a terrific read! Steamy Rebellion is a blend of several themes — a woman starting a new life, the warmth and challenges of small town life, a dash of legal mystery, a hunky mystery man and of course a steamy romance. For me, Steamy Rebellion was a wonderful introduction to the writing of Rhiannon Neeley and I’ll be looking for more of her work in the future. 5 angels.
