Eluria’s Enforcer

Devon Andromeda is on the trail of rebel and traitor Eluria Zydon, the disowned daughter of a member of the Elite Tribunal. Devon is an Enforcer, modified by sophisticated technology to be an efficient and emotionless killing machine for the Tribunal, without any memory of his Before. Eluria knows that Devon is on her trail. But she has a higher purpose, a purpose that is buried in her memories of Devon’s Before and her role in his life. Using an experimental drug, Eluria will attempt to remove Devon’s Enforcer programming, to give him back his emotions and his memories. Will the experiment work? Will Devon be able to resurrect himself as a man, or will he persist in his mission – to kill Eluria?

This is a fast-paced science fiction novella with erotic elements. The plot moves along in a rush that never lets up, and keeps the reader riveted until the finale. The characters of Devon and Eluria are humanoid but not human, so they have motivations and reactions that are slightly different from ours. In spite of this “alien-ness,” it was very easy for me to empathize with them during their conflicts and to root for their success. The eroticism is well-blended with the science fiction to form a unified whole. The many male/female sex scenes are explicit and arousing, in an alien sort of way ... I thought this was a great story, and urge those of you who enjoy futuristic romance to read it.
