James Dean and the Moonlight Madness Sale

In James Dean and the Moonlight Madness Sale we are introduced to Lucy, a woman who has been feeling a bit lonely with thoughts that are often more sexual than not. Deciding to go to the Fourth of July Midnight Madness Sale, Lucy will reminisce about her life and the men she has been with. Steven, better known as Robert Redford to Lucy, is the one love in her life and has always been. Her meanderings through each store will lead her to a James Dean look-a-like mannequin. Lucy’s chance sighting of James Dean will change her life forever.

Wow! This book packed a huge punch. It starts off with an explosive sex scene and gets even better from there. Lucy’s character is very real. She has never been known as the beautiful one, but instead as the redhead who is overweight. Steven was the one who taught her to be sensual and that she is beautiful. Beatrice Brooks did an excellent job in bringing us a story with depth and emotion. Lucy will come alive to readers and the ending will throw readers for a loop. Miss Brooks does a superb job in hooking her readers from the very first sentence and entertaining them until the very end. This reviewer will always keep an open spot on my bookshelf for any of Miss Brooks’ future releases.
