A Willful Taste

Raphael is an educated vampire of discriminating and elevated tastes. He’s learned that one does not have to be a killing machine to survive; but within the constraints he has placed on himself, he allows no room for sexual encounters, preferring instead to have human companions as just friends. He’s been badly hurt in relationships before and wants to spare himself that brand of pain. Then he meets Ian and is tempted beyond his abilities to resist.

Ian has no illusions where Raphael is concerned; in fact, knowing that Rafael is a vampire only increases the attraction. He teases, torments, and tantalizes Rafe until he is at the end of his self-imposed tether. And still Rafe resists him. It seems Ian must employ more drastic measures in order to satisfy his lust and ease Rafe’s uncertainties.

A Willful Taste is a lusty, titillating frolic into the boudoir of a sensualist vamp and his lover. This is a very spicy short story and should be read with a cool glass of water handy, just in case these male on male scenes get too hot for you to handle. Willa Okati handles these love scenes in a masterful, yet gentle way. Rafe is too sweet for words, and his insecurities only endeared him to this reader. Open up and say “ahhhh” as you take A Willful Taste of a scorcher of a story.
