Berdache

Berdache...the very name is mystical and unusual in the tribe. How much more unusual to have more than one Berdache in the same clan.

Red Wolf’s wife has taken another into her tent, and he catches them together when he returns from his hunting trip. His heart aches for his children, but he accepts her choice and moves to stay with his childhood friend, Lizard, who is a Berdache. Red Wolf denies the craving he has for his friend - he couldn’t be interested in men, could he?

Lizard is astounded at the question he is asked by Red Wolf. There are some in the tribe that think Red Wolf may be the second Berdache among them, but if the warrior has these powers, so far he’s denied them and turned away from his destiny. The two men bring Moon into their lives, a fierce and loyal woman that will help them in more ways than one on the journey they must make.

This is a hotly sensual story, with multiple partner scenes and male-on-male intimacy. Lena Austin pens a mystical and lustful tale of Native American shamanism and passion here in Berdache. A Berdache is a powerful holy person in the tribe, someone having more than one spirit vision and one who walks the line between pleasuring women and men. Ms. Austin skillfully and artfully weaves her tale around her carefully crafted characters, and tells this story with love, eroticism, and dead-on portrayals of the Native American customs.
