In Black Leather Night, Robhain the vampire has a dirty little secret...he can’t control his fantasies about his leather-clad human servant Byrne, but he hasn’t the guts to take their relationship to the next level. We get to see the desire that Robhain feels for Byrne grow into an obsession. The best line from this story was “That man would be the second death of him.” I laughed right out loud!

Donal is on the outside looking into a circle of male friendships that he’d very much like to be a part of in Into the Shadows. He’s also frightened of the shadows. When he is allowed in, the game is on - a night of ultra-friendly male revelry complete with teasing and hot sex. Then the vamp Kyreion enters the bar, and all attention flashes to him. Will Donal hide in the darkness or will he play the vamp’s game?

The Hunter ~ Roman is a medic in a highly populated area and he’s seeing some disturbing injuries and unexplained deaths coming through his ER. He’s stressed out about work, and decides on a night on the town in the hopes of finding some company. When he comes across Seth, an angry young gang member, he just might get lucky after all. What will Seth think of his little surprise?

I just love Willa Okati’s work. She writes funny and darkly erotic tales about vamps and other paranormals; she is entertaining without ever losing the black edginess that characterizes her work. She is also not afraid to lavishly detail and find the beauty in homoerotic intimacy. Black Leather Night and Other Tales is a treasure; a trio of tales skillfully crafted and served up for your pleasure. Enjoy!
