Dominion Bliss is an angel. Seriously, like with wings and everything. When he’s given the task of supervising Echo, another angel - a novice one, no less. Bliss’ life is suddenly much more difficult, as Echo is too involved with her human charges, even questioning the will of the Most High when she disagrees with it. Their angelic mission to Silver City will be more than they bargained for, and there interference there is both wanted and unwanted.

Ember Musgrove is in a pickle - she’s been widowed and left with nothing. An inheritance is just inches from her grasp, but she’ll have to tell a little white lie to claim it. Ember decides to do what she has to do to provide for her family. Little does she know that a band of schemers and con artists led by Professor Snowden Smith have taken control of the farm she’s “inherited”. There’s a mesmerist, a drunk, a clairvoyant, and a host of other extremely entertaining folks; add to this odd mix a widow and her two precocious children and you’re in for a wild ride. Things only get wilder when a spark of attraction flares between Ember and Snow. Will the truth come between them?

What follows is a moving and often hilarious look at the everyday battles between good and evil. Shannah Biondine cheerfully pulls back the covering separating the physical and the spiritual realms so that we get a peek into all of the behind-the-scenes activities.
