Kimbrel Westbrook is in a tearing hurry. She’s late and her job videoing and photographing rodeo riders simply won’t wait. When she literally stumbles over a hot, hunky German cowboy Wolf Voegler, her day improves radically.

Wolf charms her in spite of her “no cowboys” rule. He’s tall, blonde and gorgeous and she soon finds out just how well he can ride, both in and out of the show ring. Will Kim’s emotional baggage stop a good thing before it starts?

Deirdre O’Dare gives readers a sneak peek in to the rough-and-tumble world of rodeo, with realistic and authentic descriptions that make you feel like you’re a part of the action. Kim is guarded, wounded and complicated, and Wolf just slayed me with his mixed metaphors and missteps with the English language. Kim’s Rottweiler was a charmer as well and was endearingly and accurately portrayed.
