Sweet Jacquine

Rober is living a nightmare. His brother lies near death, his nephew has been slaughtered, and a great evil is about to be unleashed on the land. He also has the added burden of Jacquine to deal with, and he is increasingly aware of her charms and beauty. The Deceiver and the she-beast are lurking, though, and Rober must shield Jacquine from them at all costs.

Sweet Jacquine leads readers into the dark and bloody battle between the Warriors and the Beasts, telling the tale of lives lost and loves joined. Rober offers his protection to Jacquine, and she, a woman alone, accepts gratefully. The feelings between them grow and spill over into passion.

Brenna Lyons’ Sweet Jacquine is otherworldly and vivid, with characters of amazing depth and personality. This is a new author for me, and I was pleasantly surprised and drawn into this incredible story. I’ll be on the lookout for more stories from A Night Warrior’s Story series; I hope that they are all as riveting as Sweet Jacquine.
