Three’s Company

Hannah and Jess are roommates having a bad time of it - they’ve lost their jobs and are on the verge of getting evicted. They are throwing an eviction party when their friend Ryan shows up, offering to move in and help with expenses, but Hannah thinks it won’t work. Hannah’s homophobic uncle is their landlord and wouldn’t approve of a gay man moving in.

The morning after the party, Jess is amazed to awaken in the arms of Jared, a hunky and handsome stranger. They spend the morning in most pleasurable pursuits, with a little kinky dominance play thrown in for good measure, and go their separate ways. Later that night, Jess and Jared come back to the apartment for some more intimate time to find Ryan chatting with Hannah’s uncle. Much confusion occurs when Ryan claims to be Jess’ fiancé, and later claims to not be gay, but bisexual. Enter Jess’ pushy stepmother, and her ideas about life and marriage and you’ve got the makings of a great book!

Three’s Company is a funny book. I laughed out loud several times, and snickered repeatedly. This plot line reads like a romantic comedy, as Anne Leland shows a flair for drama and the unexpected as she skillfully pens this tale. There’s bed-hopping, little white lies and a wicked stepmother - in short, everything works together to make an erotic and enticing tale.
