Astrid has always been attracted to Duncan. She knows that they have shared a past and that their connection in this lifetime is no coincidence. She has been taking an inventory of items in the vault of the Antiquities shop. When she takes a small medallion out of a box, Astrid is taken back to a past lifetime, as Starr.

Starr has vowed never to marry the man who killed her older brother, yet she knows that she must defy her father if she is to stay with the strong young Viking invader that she has fallen in love with.

This short tale is erotically sweet and intense. Starr’s fast devotion for her lover is as tangible as her hatred for her father’s choice. Astrid’s memories of Starr are quite brief but very intense. Readers are drawn in as she remembers her total fulfillment and the pain of separation from her lover. I was totally immersed in both stories within this book and sorry to see it finish. Fortunately All Our Yesterdays: Britain is part of a current series well worth catching up with. Highly Recommended!
