Wolf Tales 5: Chanku

Wolf Tales 5: Chanku brings back the wonderful characters of Xandi, Stefan, Anton, and Keisha. This is the fifth book in the series and needs to be read in order.

Anton and Stefan are in the middle of multi-million dollar business meetings and Keisha needs to be in San Francisco to prepare for the dedication of a garden she has designed. Anton does not want Keisha to go alone, so they compromise and let Keisha go if Xandi accompanies her. Both women are looking forward to some time alone, but are surprised to be stalked in the city. This turns into a deadly game with a mad man.

Wolf Tales 5: Chanku was a wonderful addition to this series. I was immediately drawn into the world of the Chanku. Once again, Ms. Douglas paints a vivid picture of a loving group of people. The interaction between the women was very interesting and emotional. The men were both strong personalities and yet able to give in when necessary. Ms. Douglas did an absolutely superb job building the suspense in this story. I really enjoyed this book and these characters; I hope that Ms. Douglas will revisit this world and more of the Chanku.
