Dancing in Dreamland - Tarot: Page of Wands

Cindy has always been known as ‘horse-face’ or ’schnozzola’ so when she’s approached by an amazingly gorgeous man from Australia, she doesn’t know what to think. They dance a bit and retire to a more ‘private’ area where Cindy is sure that she will finally get the adventure that she’s been craving. She will be able to feel like a beautiful woman, even if it’s only once.

Raritan is an urbane man from Australia who is skilled in smooth talking. When he tells Cindy that he saw her thirst for adventure from across the room, he has her complete attention and cooperation for almost anything. Will Cindy be able to enjoy her inner beauty, or will she learn that it’s foolish to judge a book by its cover?

Dancing in Dreamland - Tarot: Page of Wands is a tale of the ugly duckling that never blossomed into a lovely swan. The angst that Cindy has felt for always being the good-humored person, the one who is quick to laugh at herself before others can laugh at her makes her a pitiable character that you cheer for from the beginning. You really hope that she gets her dream fulfilled. There were a few things in the book that I found difficult to read, but your tastes may differ from mine. Ms. Starr does a good job of stringing you along with her descriptive style and makes you want to see the book through to what you hope is it’s happily ever after
