Every Which Way but Dead is the third book in the series and they must be read in order.

When Rachel Morgan left the I.S. to start her own firm, she didn’t realize just how hard it would be. From being stalked by a were-insurance adjuster, becoming a demon’s familiar, to dating one of the living vampires, life just isn’t as easy as she’d like. Ivy has started practicing again, so at least that is a little easier, but if only Nick would understand that she didn’t mean to make him seize. Jenks is, as always, her backup, but what if he finds out that Rachel knows what Trent Kalamack is, will he forgive her for not telling? When Ivy’s college ‘roommate’ shows up to try and get Piscary out of jail, it’s just one more thing that Rachel has to deal with. Will it ever end?

I hope not!! I absolutely loved this book and the continuation of some fabulous characters. Not only were the old familiars there, (snicker) but also a whole slew of new characters were introduced. I am so pleased that Ms. Harrison has put forth as much effort as she has with the characters and the world that she has crafted. It shows, both in the humanizing of inhuman characters and the realism of The Hollows. This installment of the ongoing battle between Rachel and, well, life, is an amazing look into the Ever After and the trouble that comes from it. Thanks for such an enjoyable read! I was honored to read it early and have been talking non-stop about it since!
