Ho! Ho! Ho!

Victoria Renard is a young reporter trying to make her mark in the cutthroat world of television journalism. Just before Christmas the San Francisco area is plagued by three seemingly unconnected murders. The murders are horrific, but Victoria can only see that they can make her career. When a sickening twist is revealed, she is even more eager to break the story. Will her eagerness endanger her life?

Ho! Ho! Ho! by Tim Wohlforth is a great book for only being twenty-eight pages long. Starting with the sickening murders and ending with the…well, ending (wouldn’t want to give it away), Mr. Wohlforth does an amazing job of painting an ambitious reporter who is willing to do what is needed to get ahead. Mr. Wohlforth humanizes Victoria by making her wonder if she’s as cold as everyone thinks she is. Ho! Ho! Ho! by Tim Wohlforth is a very well written book and Victoria Renard is a character that I hope to read more about.
