Lilith’s Legacy

Lilith’s Legacy by Aubrey Ross is a compilation of previously released books, The Wooing, The Seduction, and The Claiming.

The Wooing is the story of Lilith, a demon who has been humiliated by her mate. She catches her lover Sammael in the arms of another demon and flees to the Light. Jetrel, Sammael’s brother, catches her in the Light and takes her to the Shadow Realm. While there Lilith renounces Sammael and is available for wooing. Jetrel takes advantage of this and begins a wooing like no other.

The Seduction is the continuation of The Wooing and takes Lilith and Jetrel’s relationship to another level. Lilith is able to avenge herself on Sammael and puts into motion a plan that will have repercussions for generations.

The Claiming is the story of Verrine, Lilith and Jetrel’s daughter, and Satan. This is a wonderful conclusion to a unique story.

Lilith’s Legacy by Aubrey Ross is a wonderfully unique story that touches on biblical stories but deals almost exclusively with demons and Hell. Lilith is a very strong character who is willing to do what needs to be done, both in her life and for her clan. Jetrel is a mysterious demon that you are never quite sure of. Satan and Lucifer are portrayed as two halves of a coin and Verrine is a reflection of her mother. The characters are well done and the complete collection is well written. I enjoyed the fact that this was such a different portrayal of ‘accepted’ prose.
