Merry Men and Women – Tarot: King of Swords is a book of encounters between Rob, his merry men, the best whore in England, and Nell, the sheriff’s wife.

Two of Rob’s men have disappointed the sheriff’s wife and come to Rob to let him know that she’s gone off in a huff. Rob decides to send his friend Lion to calm her down. Before he leaves, Lion asks Rob if he’s sure he doesn’t want to share in the calming? They both reminisce about the time they shared the favors of England’s best whore, Annie. As Lion leaves, Rob remembers the time that Nell caught him red-handed in the chicken coop and they conspired to give the sheriff a birthday present that would only be spoken of around the well. Lion catches up with Nell and they enjoy a bit of open air teasing.

This was a fun romp through the forest of a legendary hero. It’s obvious that Ms. Weldon enjoys writing lighthearted tales. I like reading stories where the participants aren’t afraid to laugh during intercourse. That’s the main reason I enjoyed this book, no one took anything seriously. Merry Men and Women – Tarot: King of Swords was a nice, light read. Thanks Ms. Weldon.
