Paradise Cove - Tarot: Three of Wands

Heidi McCoy’s life plan became possible the day that Harold Mooney died. Not only was she able to finally purchase his property, but the mayor of Copenhagen called an emergency meeting of the town council to annex her property. Her dreams of building a resort hotel were in sight! The only thing left to do was proposition, er, petition District Representative Chad Thornton for a federal loan. When she walks into his office, it’s lust at first sight for both of them. A red-hot fling makes them both wonder what the other is thinking. Can they follow through on their urges, and keep their business separate from their personal lives?

This was a very hot book with some great scenes. The idea of a business owner and a government official cavorting while doing business was just risqué enough to be fun. Heidi is a woman who has no fear of taking what she wants when she wants it. Yet she’s an innocent in many ways and Chad is more than willing to tutor her. The characters were well rounded although I would love to hear more about Chad and his life; I hope that Ms. Lowery plans to follow up on this story. I can’t wait to hear about the fun things that could happen at a resort!
