The Black Knight Tarot: Knight of Swords

When Adam met Joanne for the first time, he knew she would be trouble. From her scoffing attitude towards him and his unwanted attraction, this was going to be anything but easy. Charged by his grandfather, Lord Kord, to bring her to her new home safely, Adam has no choice but to deal with her attitude and the attraction. How he deals with it is a whole other problem.

Joanne couldn’t believe her bad luck, to be saddled with a Warrior was one thing, but did he have to be so virile? Having already been burned by a Warrior before, she was not going to settle for mating when it was printing that she wanted. To be able to experience a true bond was her dream. Would it ever happen?

This was a unique story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The future world was well laid out and the plot drew me in quickly. Joanne is a strong woman who has had a seriously hard life through no fault of her own. Adam is an alpha male with a tendency to stick his foot in his mouth. They are a couple whose chemistry, both figuratively and literally, made them fun to read about. Thank you for a great read Ms. Lyons.
