Rough Edges

Stone Mitchell wants to find a wife. He decides he needs a "makeover" in order to win a woman's hand and heart. Stone was a Texas Ranger but he gave it up due to injuries suffered at the hands of a madman. He is now a rancher. Gina is the woman who must help him with his quest. As time progresses, Stone and Gina become enamored with each other. However, Gina refuses to accept his domineering ways and the only way he believes he can prove his love is to "reveal" himself to her. Can Gina accept Stone with all his imperfections?

Gina is a modern woman who is juggling career and motherhood. She is enjoying her life and more importantly, her independence. Stone is a man who is use to getting what he wants and doing things his way. He decides he wants Gina for his wife and will do almost anything to get her. He does have a key advantage via Gina’s sons. They are very important to her. They are in search of a father figure and Stone fits the bill for them. Gina and Stone both have emotional baggage and in order to have a future together, they must face up to their problems. Trust plays a big factor with both of them and the question remains, will they be able to put their happiness into someone else’s hands.

Rough Edges was a nicely written love story. It has characters that you can relate to and want to succeed in their relationship. With two enjoyable leads and a likable supporting cast, Rough Edges is a very easy read.
