Sylvie’s Gift

Sylvie likes to be in control. Being in control has helped her to become the successful professional that she is. The only thing keeping Sylvie from being happy is her lack of a personal life. Sylvie lets her best friend Allison talk her into going to a party. Sylvie did not expect to meet a man like Daimaen. Everything about Daimaen excites Sylvie and she does not understand why he has such control over her. When her life is threatened, Daimaen steps in to protect her. As Sylvie gives more of herself to Daimaen, she finds that she has given him her most precious gift, her heart.

Daimaen was quite bored with the party and ready to leave until he saw Sylvie. Something about Sylvie draws him to her – he wants her. Sylvie is not the type of woman Daimaen is used to, while professionally sure of herself, she seems very sexually insecure. Teaching Sylvie about pleasure will bind her to him, keeping her under his control. When someone tries to kill her, he does everything he can to protect her. As Sylvie and he become closer, Daimaen finds that does not want to let her go.

Sylvie’s Gift is a wonderful take on the dom/sub relationship. The author paints a wonderful picture of a woman used to being in control letting someone control her. Sylvie and Daimaen have a very deep emotional connection that allows their intense sexual chemistry to burn out of control. The added mix of mystery makes this story a great read.
