Wicked Nights

Talk-show host Donna Nolan is not happy with her new assignment. Having to listen to people recount their sexual escapades with creatures of the night is not a topic she would have chosen for her show. But the powers that be have sent her to Galvaston to the Castle of Dark Dreams. Her show will broadcast live from the castle that caters to making sexual fantasies come true. Eric, Brynn and Conall McNair run the castle. Donna and Eric have a weird emotional/sexual connection going on that neither is happy about. When a threat from the McNairs’ past comes to town, Donna is amazed at what she finds out about each man. Falling in love with a vampire is a hard thing. Especially if you do not know where you stand with said vampire.

Eric McNair does not want a talk show broadcast from the castle, but there is little he can do to prevent it. He certainly never expected to meet a woman like Donna Nolan. Eric has become accustomed to fulfilling women’s fantasies, but he is unaccustomed to having such deep, intense feelings for a woman. Falling in love with a mortal will only lead to heartbreak. A threat from the past comes to haunt Eric, Brynn and Conall, and Eric will do whatever it takes to protect Donna from being hurt.

I could not put this book down. Ms. Bangs has outdone herself with Wicked Nights. The instant connection between Eric and Donna just allows their love to grow. I enjoyed that each had doubts and reasons for not becoming involved with the other, but in the end were unable to resist. The secondary characters are wonderful, each charming and significant in their own way. The intense sexual chemistry, humorous dialogue and unique take on the vampire/mortal relationship make this book a keeper.
