Rogue The Redeemer,<br>Book Six in the Raven Series

Rogue Raven Shanley has trained with the best group of vampire hunters around — The Unkindness of Ravens. After a vampire killed his grandfather and the Raven Clan saved his Aunt Grace, Rogue joined the Ravens in their mission to destroy a Clutch of vampires. Now he’s ready for his second mission, which is to find a lone vampire stealing blood from a small hospital. But when Raven finds his target, this mission proves to be more difficult than he had envisioned. He questions his loyalty to the Ravens, his belief in his own judgment, as well as his feelings for Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn Gale is young and beautiful and possibly a fledgling vampire. She’s not exactly sure since a night of passion with a mysterious stranger while in New York City for a weekend of uninhibited fun has changed her life forever. Now she has some strange problems, like avoiding daylight and craving blood and sex. So she’s using her expertise in the lab, running tests on her own blood to try and find out exactly what’s wrong with her in addition to a cure. But a run in with Rogue Shanley ignites a burning passion and may just change her life again.

Ms. Neeley’s Rogue The Redeemer is a great story of vampires, hunters, and an unexpected love between two different people. Rogue is definitely aptly named. He’s a sexy, confident young man trying to prove to himself and his new “family” that he’s capable and trustworthy. But Kaitlyn throws him for a loop. She’s not what he expects or what he knows vampires to be. She’s not only beautiful, but also compassionate. Kaitlyn doesn’t understand her change from human to vampire, she’s afraid and has been fighting it every step of the way. Their journey to discover each other, personally and sexually, was one that I enjoyed taking with them. The sparks between the two ignited at their first meeting and grew to bonfire proportions. Keep the fire extinguisher handy…you’ll need it. Although sixth in the Raven Series, Rogue The Redeemer is a wonderful read on its own. But be warned, you’ll want to get the first five in the series if you haven’t read them yet!
