Candy Hearts #3: One Kiss

Mai is on assignment for the Law Council and, thanks to a small incident on her last assignment, this one is not exactly roses for her. She has asked for a transfer to another assignment but so far no word has come. She dreams about the one agent that she let get away, the one that stole her heart with a single kiss. But when a dirty scraggly Neanthrope comes into the bar where she has set up shop, she is attracted to him. But she is determined to wait for Vik. Can Mai see thru the outer trappings to the heart of the matter?

Candy Hearts #3: One Kiss by Elayne S. Venton is a very entertaining short story. This is a terrific afternoon romp through the universe. This is a very romantic sensual read. The love scenes are steamy and Mai and Katar are a great couple once they get on the right track. This is a short story at only 32 pages but they are packed with wonderful humor and romance.
