Beautiful Dreamer

Cody Green is the county sheriff, and it is close to rodeo week in Starling County, Texas. This is THE event of the year here, and with it brings tons of tourists. But tourists are not what is keeping Cody up nights this year. This year it is the sexy Starling County’s head librarian, Marianne Chalmers. Marianne is a widow of just over a year, and according to Cody’s deputy she has been having trouble sleeping. When Cody finds Marianne sleepwalking, he tries his best to get her back to bed without incident, unfortunately Marianne has other ideas. In the clear light of day Marianne wonders about these dreams she remembers, the star of which is Cody. Could they be real and not dreams?

Beautiful Dreamer is a touching romantic love story. Cynthianna Appel has written a terrific look at a couple falling in love, with all the speed bumps and hairpin turns that it can take when the whole town is watching. The sex scenes are hot without being overboard. All the characters are very well written. This is a wonderful read and well worth the time. I would love to see another book about the residents of Starling County.
