Kyra Harris has a job to do, rescue an errant playboy that has managed to get himself kidnapped by a vindictive drug dealer. It should have been a simple in-and-out job and then deliver the subject back to his fancy lifestyle. However, the minute Kyra sets eyes on Paul Gilmore her simple mission ceases to exist.

Paul has no idea how he came to be in this predicament. Sure, he has made some enemies during his career as a political reporter, but he seriously doubts any candidate he has written about would stoop this low. When Kyra and her team come to his rescue he can’t believe his good fortune. Closer inspection of this dynamic woman reveals a chemistry he has never experienced. Can he overcome her doubts and convince her that there is more to him than she thinks?

Operation Playboy is sure to please fans that enjoy seeing a strong woman find a man that fights for her heart. The story opens with quick, effective action that will immediately engage readers in the storyline. Kyra is an adventurous, dedicated woman that has given up on having any type of lasting, romantic relationship. The author has gone to lengths to explain her reluctance to enter into a serious affair with Paul. This goes well with the emotions and growth of Kyra’s character as she realizes just how important Paul could become. The scenes between Kyra and Paul run the gamut, from fun and loving, to passion and pain. These are two characters that are well matched. Operation Playboy is the first in Rayka Mennen’s Operation series and shows that this is a series worth picking up.
