The Game of Desire

As young children, Audrey St. John and Braedon Gray have always tried to out do one another. So, they create ‘the game’ to learn who the best of all was. Over the years, either Audrey or Braedon set challenges with the winner claiming a forfeit. Now, at the age of twenty-one, and after winning the latest ‘game’, Audrey decided to up the stakes by demanding an award winning forfeit; she wants Braedon to escort her to a well-known brothel for a fun-loving night of passion. Will Braedon give into Audrey’s seductive ‘game’?

I found The Game of Desire by Robin Danner, to be an interesting historical-type read. A once friendly game soon turned into a sexual battle of the wills. For years, Audrey has fancied herself in lust with Braedon. She wanted him to be the first man to introduce her to the wonderful joys of sex; although Braedon knew it was wrong, he couldn’t help from falling into Audrey’s tempting game. It was fascinating to watch how their relationship went from friends to lovers with a twist of jealousy thrown into the mix to make things more interesting. While the sexual encounters were not written in a detailed, erotic description, they were very sensual in nature. Overall, I enjoyed this “Quick Silver read”!
