Bethany's Rite is Book One in the Ilyrian Destiny series.

Bethany is a woman who wants more out of life, a place to belong, and a family of her own. She must accept him as her own; his life and more depends on it. With the danger of her being found by someone else, his time is limited. He must act fast whether she wants to move at that speed or not. He is determined to win her heart, soul, and acceptance. Can he bring her to see she is meant only for him? Can she understand why he must keep her safe when she doesn’t believe she needs to be saved? Will she love him in return? Why does this woman make him act out in uncontrolled desire when ever she is around?

Eve Jameson creates a suspenseful story that leaves readers clinging to their seats with each turn of the page. The characters in Bethany’s Rite are both imaginative and unbelievably realistic at the same time. Wyc is wonderfully written to show great strength and determination with a slight bit of danger thrown in for good measure. Bethany is a feisty, spunky woman who has met her match. The passion and desire that Wyc devotes to Bethany will leave readers breathless. The author has done an incredible job on balancing love, lust, passion, and fear into an intelligent plot. As the story grows, readers will be hooked to keep reading to see if Wyc breaks down another one of Bethany’s walls of defense and whether she accepts him as well as what he has to offer. Will Bethany believe Wyc tale of destiny, that she is his? Can Wyc save Bethany in time? Will the passion between Wyc and Bethany be everything they have both imagined it would be?

This is a book that engrosses you into its passionate, tantalizing romance and pulls you onto the edge of your seat continuously. I have to admit that I read it in a day because I could not put it down. The intense passion that Eve Jameson created in this story will leave reader realizing that they are holding their breath in anticipation. Bethany’s Rite is a book that needs to be read by anyone looking for a flaming hot romance with a side of suspense. This book has earned a well-deserved 5 Angels!
