Love Thy Neighbor is the sequel to Fiona’s Fancy.

Piper is a quirky and unpredictable palm-reader whose life is about to take a turn for the worse. Piper will have to find her way through all the bumps and turns before she realizes the change is actually for the best. Her grandmother, Nana, steps in to save Piper from a life of being alone. The only trouble is that Piper does not want to be rescued. She is perfectly happy and content living alone without a man. Who needs a man anyway; they only break your heart? Piper will have to fight her way through numerous suitors before finding the perfect one; that is if she realizes he is the perfect one between his secrets and dimples. Can she learn to trust again? Will she see her new neighbor, Dane, for who he really is? Is Piper destined to be loved beyond her wildest dreams?

Dane is on the run to hide from the worst mistake in history. What possessed him to fall in love on national television in the first place? Now publicly rejected, he is on a mission to hide away until his face is forgotten. He lands in Colorado next door to a psycho psychic. When he sees her, she is beautiful, yet dangerous. Good thing Dane does not socialize with the neighbors or at least, he didn't before seeing Piper. In the midst of trying to start over incognito, he realizes that he can never really hide from his past. When Piper describes what a home really is, Dane realizes he wants a place just like that. Unfortunately, when he discovers where his home really is, it might be too late. Will Dane be able to fix where he messed up? Will Dane finally learn why trust is important to Piper? Will he once again be on the run to hide from yet another mistake he has made? Can Dane’s future really hold what he was told it would?

Suzanne Marie Calvin offers readers a delightful follow up story to Fiona’s Fancy. The instant chemistry between Dane and Piper is both touching and humorous. Dane is a man in hiding trying to avoid making an even bigger mistake than the last. Piper will not make the same mistake twice. Neither of them realizing that closely guarding oneself will land them in more trouble than just being honest about the way they feel. Will Piper see Dane for more than the man who has betrayed her trust? Can Dane and Piper survive his past secrets and her past misfortunes?

Love Thy Neighbor is a funny little love story that leaves readers with a smile. It was a pleasure to read. I enjoyed the spunky side of Piper as much as I liked her sensitive side. Dane provides a tender thoughtful beau for Piper even when he is making one mistake after another. Suzanne Marie Calvin has done an excellent job of providing readers with enough humor and romance to thoroughly thrill them and earned 5 Angels!
