Trilogy No. 101 offers readers three short Contemporary Romance stories with unique characters.

Blackout – Ashley has lost her husband. Curt is newly divorced. Trapped in an elevator due to a blackout, they must overcome the heat and tension that emerges between them. Can either of them survive the blackout and their own personal pain?

Touch the Fire – Flint is a dedicated fireman and father to Sam. Sam is a spunky four year old that is bubbling over with love and laughs. Nicole’s in an unfamiliar place being saved from the midst of fire by Flint. Can she ever repay Flint for saving her or is it Flint that needs saving?

June in August – June is on a mission to prove she is now a woman. Wylie is a man returning home from war. They were friends years ago, prior to Wylie leaving for Vietnam. Can the two of them rekindle their friendship or have things changed between them?

Samantha Sommersby provides readers with three short stories that are touching and pleasant to read. Each couple offers a different blend of personality, strength, and weaknesses that make them original and realistic. The intense situations that each couple endures will either make or break them. Will the couples be able to rise above the submerging dilemmas?

The characters are what I enjoyed the most. Flint shows his daughter a tender and devoted fatherly love while being simultaneously emotionally overwhelmed and uncertain with Nichole. June is entwined with the humor of innocence. Wylie is a man living for the present after enduring his past. Samantha Sommersby does a wonderful job drawing the readers in with great word play and characters. Each of these stories offers readers a full array of emotions from heartbreak, loneliness, to humor and romance. Trilogy No. 101 has earned its 4 Angels!
